That Was The Week That Was 16-20 November

Here are the answers to last week’s quiz:

  1. A: The table was round.  It was a roundtable document, not a round document.
  2. C is the correct answer.  All parties at a round table have to act with honour and piety, as befits Knights.  There are no knaves at a round table.  Lose a point if you put down E.
  3. E: Greenwash is not how you make an agenda a Green Agenda.  All other answers are close, but do not score a point.
  4. There are two correct answers to this question.  Either, A: soaking up unlimited amounts of tax payer funds; or F: Relying on the generosity of the Low Cost Carriers.
  5. This was the Fake News question.  Despite many other entities doing their best to get your attention, there can only one winner: D: FABEC.
  6. ‘Groups embarrass list’ is an anagram of ‘Airports’ AGM Brussels’.  Other answers may also be acceptable.
  7. No-body in the aviation industry now works as an epidemiologist.  We are all vaccinologists, so the correct answer was B.  Lose two points if you put down Psephologist.
  8. A difficult word order question, this one.  There is only one correct answer: A European Strategy for Sustainable Tourism.  All six words must be used, in that exact order to be correct.  Other variations score nothing.
  9. This question required you to match two answers.  Sentence 3 in Column A: ‘Using a competitive provider to carry people to a space station in outer space was inspiring and evidence of what innovative thinking can do, cheaper and better’; can only be matched with sentence 6 in Column B: ‘The very thought of looking at competitive provision of ATM services is ridiculous.’
  10. The son of the son of SESAR was Tiberius.  No other name is acceptable.
